Booking Policy

Thank you for choosing Acorn Studios for your photography needs. We are excited to work with you and to create beautiful, timeless photography.

We know that schedules change and sometimes appointments need to be cancelled or rescheduled. As a courtesy to our clients, we we offer the following refund/cancellation structure.

Reschedules

In the event you need to reschedule an appointment, all deposits paid will be applied to your new appointment as long as 24+ hours notice is given AND the new date is no more than 90 days from the original appointment. Reschedules can be made online or by contacting the studio at least 24 hours in advance.

Reschedules with less than 24 hours notice are subject to a $25 reschedule fee.

Cancellations

Schedules change. Needs change. Cancellations happen. As a courtesy to our staff and clients, we request that you provide as much notice as possible when canceling an appointment. We are happy to refund any deposits paid based on the following timeline:

  • 72+ Hours Notice: 100% refund of deposit paid
  • 48-71 Hours Notice: 75% refund of deposit paid
  • 24-47 Hours Notice: 50% refund of deposit paid
  • Less than 24 Hours Notice: No refund of deposit paid
  • Appointment No-Show: No-shows forfeit 100% of all deposits, retainers and money paid and are subject to a $25 reschedule fee.

Any eligible refunds will be processed within 48 hours of cancellation.
