I love babies. They are filled with rolly-polly sweetness. Awake or asleep, they are so cute and fun to photography. You can see their little personalities in their eyes. And all that goodness is why I love being a baby photographer. I enjoy working with my littlest clients so much. (Especially when they let me dress them up!)

About a week and a half ago I had the opportunity to do a mini session with a particularly special client–my new niece Penelope Jane. Like her big sister, Penelope is one of the sweetest, most low-key babies ever. No tears, no crying. She is incredibly relaxed and happy to go with the flow. Thank goodness! With an aunt and mother who are both photographers, she will be one frequently photographed kid!

Here are a couple of my favorite shots from PJ’s first photo shoot. I have a feeling this little princess will be ruling the roost in no time!
