There are a lot of benefits to my job as a professional photographer, but one of the best is helping people document their most important life moments and memories. From weddings to senior portraits, you get to spend time with amazing people and help them remember special milestones.

Most high school seniors call me for portraits the summer between their junior and senior year. I also get calls for senior portraits in the fall. This year I was excited to work with Deisi on her spring senior photos.

I worked with Deisi on-location at Aloha High School. Not knowing what the weather would offer–and having never visited Aloha High School before–I came armed with a single backdrop, a simple light set-up and the hope that the school had some interesting backdrops.

As luck would have it, the day of Deisi’s shoot was rainy, so we had to work indoors. All of these images were shot on-location in the Aloha High School lunch room! There, I was excited to find a couple different textures and a couple great skylights.

Here is a look into Deisi’s senior portraits. Such a sweet and pretty gal. I am confident she’ll go far. Congrats, Deisi!
