It is hard to believe how quickly this summer (and wedding season!) has flown by. I was just going through photos from some of the summer weddings to date, and wow! There were so many great celebrations of friendship and love. I have laughed with couples. I have teared up with couples. Documentary wedding photography has never been so good!

Roccy and Rachel’s riverfront wedding in Wilsonville was one of those amazing celebrations. It was so elegant and so well thought out. And the venue? It was spectacular. Rachel asked her parents to host the wedding at their waterfront home on the Willamette River, and I’ve never seen a more beautiful property on the water.

Complementing the incredible view was Rachel’s choice of details. She chose vibrant oranges and purples, which made for incredible floral arrangements and the cake. That cake! (I’ve never seen such an amazing ombre effect!) There were elegant touches such as rhinestones. And heartfelt touches like quotes about family.

Adding to the fun festivities was a portrait booth by yours truly. That’s where I really got to have some fun and giggle! Guests stopped by for photos and silliness during the dinner hour.

It was a fantastic day and I am excited to share a peek. Make sure you check out the cake and Rachel’s amazing hair. Wow!
