Let me start by saying, it has been crazy cold in Portland this month. Make no mistake, we Oregonians can do 9 months of rain no problem, but cold, that’s another story. Our webbed feet freeze!
While the majority of Portland was tucked snuggly in their warm beds or enjoying breakfast and copious amounts of coffee, Tyler and I were out battling the elements to get a great senior portrait and yearbook photo. Rain AND near freezing temperatures would have most Portlanders running to their nearest coffee shop. But not Tyler and I, we powered on with our mission.
The results are some fantastic photos and that take advantage of beautiful winter morning light. The light was so perfect that I did not have to pull out one light modifier for this shoot. (Of course my frozen hands probably could not have held it anyway!) My only concern was keeping my camera warm and dry as we explored the great backdrops Downtown Portland has to offer.
Despite our risk of hypothermia, we got that fantastic yearbook photo for Tyler–and a few other great ones to boot!
Congratulations on this major milestone in your life, Tyler! And thanks for being a trouper and battling the cold with me.
