Who doesn’t have a weakness for babies? I mean, really?! So much cuteness bundled up in one little package. Case in point, my baby portrait session this week with Blake. How cute is he?! He reminds me of a little Wall Street Stock Broker or Executive in the making. His cuteness knows no bounds!! From his toothy grin to those big eyes, he is a whole lot of sweetness.
Move over E*Trade baby, my little client is a zillion times cuter!

What a busy–and fantastic–weekend in the studio! There was so much amazing light in the studio this weekend, I actually had hope that Spring is soon on its way. To help me celebrate were lots of cute babies and the amazing Iris–a GORGEOUS child portrait client.
Iris is only three, but she is already stunning! Look at these ice blue eyes (that’s NOT Photoshop!). I think they could melt any heart. She looks like a true Scandinavian princess to me!

Talk about a baby portrait session that made my day. Little Miss Ellie is about as sweet–and cute–as they come. Chocked full of adorable, her big gummy grin just melts your heart. And those baby blues–there’s no recovering from those. Little Ellie even gave me a few snuggles at the end of the session to push my heart over the edge.
It is hard to believe my baby girl was once that small. *sigh* That’s what baby and child portraits are for, right?!

What many people don’t know, is that I taught yoga for over two years. I loved (and still love!) how beautiful yoga is. Strip off the meditation, the health benefits, etc., and what you are left with is the most gorgeous lines the human body can produce. As someone who loves photographing lines and structures, you can imagine how thrilled I was to do a yoga photography shoot with yogi Terra!
I’ll post more photos from our shoot later, but I wanted to kick everyone’s weekend off with this very beautiful, very Zen-like pose of Terra in Eka Pada Rajakapotasana–say that three times fast!–the One-Legged King Pigeon Pose. Terra’s execution is gorgeous and has the movement of a dancer.
Okay, now I’m inspired! Time to shake the dust off my yoga mat…

I have absolutely no idea what the equivalent of “femme fatale” is in Spanish, but this Costa Rican beauty certainly has the look!
Yesterday’s photo shoot with the bonita Juliana was a lot of fun, and really “all over the studio” as far as genres go. We came together to do a fashion shoot, but felt so comfortable working together that we decided to cross the border into boudoir portraits and glamour photography. To be honest, Juliana and I made some great fashion images, but the ones that really had the “wow factor” were the boudoir portraits–it is where Juliana’s Latina beauty really shined.
What’s the Spanish translation of “Ooo La La?”
